A passeggiata in Anghiari

An evening walk in Italy is called Passeggiata. After the evening meal folks stroll around their neighborhoods and villages. We were out on our passeggiata one fine summer evening and I rounded a corner in this quaint hill town in Tuscany and this is what I saw. I marveled at how, to these residents this may be their whole world. They may have never left their village. It was so pleasant and simple. But very lovely.
