The Siren
"The Siren" - Soft Pastel (drawn from a live model)... I came upon a cave along a rocky shore overlooking the ocean... within this cave I heard the most beautiful voice singing the most haunting melody... I crept closer, and to my amazement, a siren with the tail of a dolphin sat there, combing her hair, singing her entrancing song... She spoke to me in whispers which I could not understand... I still reside here in this cave... unable to leave her side.
