Today Is A Gift

This still life is my own set up and creation. I went through several iterations before deciding this one captured the idea I was trying to convey. The message is very dear to me as someone who saw my own share of chaos at a very young age and was then reminded of the fragility of life not far into adulthood with a medical scare of my own, this painting holds a special place in my heart! I keep a print of it in my studio to remind me daily to treasure my life now and the blessings in it because…TODAY is a gift and tomorrow is not promised…
