On a recent trip to New Zealand this beautiful hydrangea showed up on my bedside table straight from our hosts' garden. For me its elegance and simplicity was emblematic of their incredible hospitality. I've always been intimidated by painting hydrangea but the warm experience at their lodge inspired me to go for it.
