PiCatso’s Self Portrait
Based on one of my daughter’s travel photos of white lions, this one inspired me to create a white lion who would be king (well, maybe he already is). This coincided with my recent study of cubism and the two ideas just locked in. I created this just with soft pastel on pastelmat. It is intended not to get too close to realism, so I don’t really know its category. It has been extremely popular with people who have seen it, so I thought why not enter it. Enjoy.
