The early blooms of Mimosas with their incredible yellow hues are always a delight when it's still cold in winter...I was inspired to play with traditional still life formats but be more playful with color and abstract background/lighting, and utilizing a turquoise vase I had at home as a compliment to these sunny blossoms. 16x16 Pastel Mat dark.
