Having just purchase the Blue Earth Nomad set, I wanted to try them out immediately and paint the state of my backyard rose garden. I was struck by the subtle burnt sienna of the emerging rose canes set against the varied saturations and hues of the greens of the surrounding foliage. Painted on Pastelmat with mostly Blue Earth and a few Terry Ludwig pastels.
