Le Blanc sur Creuse
On a painting trip to the Loire Valley, our group leader dropped us off at an ordinary parking lot in Le Blanc. As I stepped through the trees, I was greeted by the extraordinary sight of houses set along the river. I knew I wanted to add the reflections of the houses even though they did not appear in the river. I began this plein air piece by creating an alcohol wash underpainting with Nupastels, and followed with Blue Earth, and Terry Ludwigs on light green Pastelmat.
