I was struck by the simplicity and wildness of this field of flowers in a small village in the Loire Valley and I knew I wanted to paint it. There was a feeling of freedom in how the wildflowers arranged themselves against the sturdy and glowing architecture. Painted on Pastelmat with combination of Terry Ludwig, Sennelier, Diane Townsend and Richeson.
